The fifth episode of the 23rd installment of the popular anime series "PreCure," "Detective PreCure!", "The Detective in a Big Trouble!", will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi at 8:30 a.m. on March 1st.
The new semester begins, and Anna sees off Mikuru, who is now in her second year of junior high school. However, seeing that it looks like it might rain, she decides to go deliver an umbrella. Jet-senpai asks her to also deliver the new Puri Kit.
Anna had come close to the school building, but when she saw Mikuru getting along with her classmates, she turned back and bumped into Kitamura Mariko, a university student who was passing by. Mariko's younger sister, Keiko, was attending the same high school division as Mikuru at Makoto Mirai Academy, and was supposed to be studying abroad in London, but for some reason, she had often heard people say she had seen her around town. Mariko had also seen someone who looked exactly like Keiko just this morning.
After hearing Mariko's story, Anna offers to solve the problem, disguising herself as a high school student using Prekit Gloss and sneaking into the high school alone. Meanwhile, Mikuru is called by the school's chairman and asked to solve the ghost incidents that have been occurring in the high school division.
The motif of "Detective PreCure!" is "detectives," and the theme is "see, feel, think, and find the 'true' answer for yourself." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in trouble," and are guided by a mysterious power to travel back in time from the present day of 2027 to 1999. The story transcends time and depicts the Pretty Cure's new encounters, friendships, and growth.
The cast includes Kaede Hondo as Cure Answer/Akechi Anna, Hondo Nao Toyama as Cure Arcana Shadow/Mori Aruru. The mysterious Pretty Cure Cure Eclair will also make an appearance.
