Yomiuri TV has announced that it will be broadcasting a new morning information program, "Teppan Asa Live Juutto!" (Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM), from March 30th. The announcement was held at the headquarters (Chuo-ku, Osaka) on February 25th, with the announcers appearing on stage. This will be the first time in about 16 years that the station will be launching a new program in the morning slot since "Asa-nama Wide Su-matan!" (March 2010 to September 2025).
The announcers for the new program were also introduced, with the three main MCs being Nishiyama Kohei, Hayashi Mao, and Nakamura Hideka. Nishiyama has served as a pinch MC and broadcaster for "Information Live Miyaneya," gaining experience under Miyane Seiji. Hayashi was the third assistant for "Miyaneya," and Nakamura also hosted "Miyaneya." All three are from Osaka.
The sub-MCs will be three newcomers who joined the station last year: Soga Fujioka, Maya Yoshizawa, and Haruna Masuda. The weather segment will be handled by weather forecasters Daisuke Horai and Sayaka Ichimura. Commentator Akira Nomura will appear as the news commentator.
At the press conference, Nishiyama enthusiastically said, "Together with the incredibly encouraging colleagues here, I would like to create a lively program that everyone can watch with a smile. I would like to work with all my heart and soul to one day reclaim the top spot from Kansai's top morning program, 'Ohayo Asahi Desu' (ABC TV), and become a truly Kansai 's go-to' morning program."
