The fifth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, was broadcast on February 22nd, and the shocking developments caused a wave of surprise.

Hayase (Suzuki) and Ichika (Toda Erika) finally join forces to track down the real Gido. However, behind Gido (Suzuki) lies a huge dark organization led by Goroku. Unless they destroy this organization, the two have no future. Hayase and Ichika embark on a dangerous plan to achieve two goals at the same time: to track down Gido and destroy the organization.
With no conclusive information available, Gido suddenly appears at the hospital where Ichika's younger sister, Ayaka (Yoda Yuki), is staying. Hayase and Ichika decide to confront each other face-to-face to put an end to everything, and head to the hospital, but while Ichika is checking on Ayaka's safety, Gido restrains Hayase and escapes.
However, at their hideout, Gido tells Hayase something unexpected: "You're making a big mistake. You've been deceived by Ichika." It wasn't Gido who killed Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka), but Ichika who tricked Hayase and tried to frame Gido as the culprit. He reveals that Ichika had also proposed the reboot plan, and that the 10 billion yen worth of jewelry Gido stole was fake. Gido then says that he suspects Ichika was the one who killed Natsumi.
At that moment, Gido receives a call from Ichika. Ichika takes Mayu hostage and demands that Hayase be released. Gido and Hayase head to the apartment to retrieve the gun, but Hayase is caught by the police, including Makita (Ito Hideaki).
As everything turns upside down, social media was filled with surprised comments such as, "The plot twists are so funny, and it's only the fifth episode," "I have no idea what the truth is," "As always, the amount of information in the first episode is shocking," "I can't tell who's lying," and "Every episode is a big twist that feels like the final episode."
