On the 15th, an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" was held at Tachikawa Stage Garden (Tachikawa, Tokyo), entitled "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 10th Anniversary Event - Tekka Festival -." A stellar cast of voice actors gathered to perform original recitations and live dubbing, revealing stories from that time that they could only talk about now that 10 years have passed.
On the 15th, it was announced that Chie Shinohara's manga "Akai Kawa no Hotori," which was serialized in Shogakukan's Shojo Comic (now Sho-Comi) from 1995 to 2002, will be adapted into a TV anime series that will air this summer. It was revealed that Manaka Nakayama will play Itsuki Danko, the daughter of Itsuki Danpei, the protagonist of "Dodge Danpei: The Fiery Ball Boy." The cast of members of the Kyukawa Dokyuu Club includes Kaori Maeda as Kobotoke Chinko, the daughter of Chinen Kobotoke; Akira Sekine as Mochiko Ebukuro; Yoh Daichi as Susan Cannon; and Yu Shinohara as Hane Otohana. On the 19th, it was announced that the TV anime "Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter Agent: Spring Dance," based on the light novel by Akatsuki Kana, known for "Violet Evergarden," will begin airing on TOKYO MX, MBS, and other stations from March 28th. It was also announced that Natsuse will sing the opening theme "Petals" and the ending theme "Hanaikada," both of which are by Vocaloid producer Orangestar, and the main PV featuring the two songs has been released on YouTube.
On the 20th, the fifth chapter of the popular anime remake series "Space Battleship Yamato: Forever Yamato REBEL 3199," titled "The Incandescent Galactic War," was released.
