The 100th episode of the NHK morning drama "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and other times), starring Takaishi Akari, was broadcast on February 20th, and viewers responded to the show's signs of Heaven (Tommy Bastow) escaping his slump.
In the 100th episode, the Matsuno family's grill goes missing, but neither it nor the culprit have been found. Unable to bear the mutual suspicions of the Matsuno family, Kuma (Toru Natsume), who feels that she is suspected of being the culprit, announces that she will quit her job as a maid.
Kuma tries to run out of the house, ignoring the desperate pleas of Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven (Tommy Bastow) to calm him down. Meanwhile, Joe's (Sugita Rairin) pocket watch goes missing. Joe reveals that it was a precious watch given to him by his brother, Yuichi (Yoshizawa Ryo), and chokes out, "I hate to say this, but...someone..." However, it turns out that Kuma had an alibi at the time of the incident, and the search for the culprit becomes extremely complicated.
Afterwards, Takeru confesses to Masaki that he lied to her that his pocket watch had been stolen in order to protect the bear. Masaki, hearing Tsukasasuke (Takashi Okabe) and Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki) arguing, seems to have come up with a brilliant idea and jumps out in front of them, lying that his wallet is missing. In the end, Takeru reports that he found the pocket watch, and Masaki pretends to have mistakenly thought that his wallet was in his pocket, and Toki and the other Matsuno family members laugh together in relief.
Heaven noticed Takeru and Masaki's lies and said in English, "I hate lies, but you two told good lies," before shaking their hands and exclaiming, "Wonderful! Wonderful!" Heaven hurried to her desk and muttered, "Interesting... Takeru's lies... Masaki's lies... Kumamoto has nothing to do with it... That's a lie! It's in the Japanese heart," and began writing with her pen, concentrating intently.
Since moving to Kumamoto, Heaven has been in a slump and has not been able to make progress on her writing. However, Takeru and Masaki's "kind lies" have pushed Heaven forward, and comments on social media have included, "It all turned out well," "I'm relieved," "The students have risen in stature," "They're such kind kids," "The lies have deepened the Matsuno family's ties... nice students," "An idea has come to me!", "I cried when I saw Heaven-sensei happily putting his pen to paper," "I'm so glad her creative motivation has returned," and "I guess this whole commotion was to get Heaven out of her slump."
