It has been announced that the TV anime "Kusunoki House with a Divine Garden," based on the popular light novel by Enju, which is published on the novel submission site "Let's Become a Novelist," will begin airing on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "NUMAnimation" from April 4th. It has also been announced that Okawa Toru, Yusa Koji, Hayami Shou, and Takahashi Hiroki will appear as additional cast members. They will play the "Four Spirits," four auspicious beasts that bring good fortune, with Okawa playing the Spirit Turtle, Yusa playing the Oryu, Hayami playing the Kirin, and Takahashi playing the Phoenix.
The second promotional video, featuring adorable gods such as the mountain god, parsley, torika, deutzia, and the four spirits, has been released on YouTube.
The special program "TV Anime 'Kusunoki Residence with a Divine Garden' Pre-Broadcast Special" will be streamed on YouTube from 8:00 PM on March 14th. It will feature Sakata Shogo as Kusunoki Minato, Fujima Hide as Yamagami, Nakajima Yoshiki as Fujin, and Kobayashi Daiki as Raijin.
The work is a light novel written by Enju and illustrated by ox. The story follows Minato Kusunoki, who is put in charge of managing a house in the countryside that is overrun with evil spirits. He uses his extraordinary powers to unknowingly wipe out the evil spirits, and is drawn to the comfort of the purified Kusunoki residence, which then attracts a variety of unique gods.
The anime will be directed by Sekino Sekishige and produced by JUVENAGE.
