This time, we will be presenting the first ever two-hour special of the program, which aired on February 19, 2016. Kume, who has loved engines since he was a child, says that during his student days he always had part-time jobs that allowed him to drive cars. He talks about his unique part-time job experience with his beloved Midget, and the Datsun Bluebird SSS that he finally got after longing for it...
He is drawn to the charm of American cars, such as the classic MGA1600, which holds fond memories for him and Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, and the Chevrolet MONZA. He looks back on his car history and youth, along with time-honored programs such as "The Best Ten" and "News Station." The reason why Kume is so in love with the Subaru cars he continues to drive is also revealed.
