The special exhibition "30th Anniversary of Broadcast TV Anime 'Detective Conan' Exhibition," based on the anime "Detective Conan," which is based on the popular manga by Gosho Aoyama, will be held at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) from February 20th. The special exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of the TV anime's broadcast will unravel and introduce the behind-the-scenes production of the series over the past 30 years, from the planning to the theme songs. It will run until March 29th.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary, Edogawa Conan and 30 other characters will be lined up at the entrance. In the "Introduction" corner, many televisions will be lined up, allowing visitors to see scenes from the familiar opening credits of the TV anime series, "He looks like a child, but he has the mind of an adult, his name is Detective Conan!!" over the past 30 years.
The area is divided into "#1 Projects," which displays character designs and art setting materials, "#2 Storyboards," which displays a huge number of storyboards drawn over the course of 30 years, "#3 Animation," which shows Conan in motion frame by frame, "#4 Dubbing," which has a corner where you can compare Conan's emotions and congratulatory comments from the voice actors, and "#5 Theme Songs," which displays the jackets of the theme songs from the past. By touring all the areas, you can get a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes production process.
You can also enjoy "#SP Memorial Scenes" featuring famous scenes, a special exhibition movie expressing gratitude to fans, and "NEXT CONAN'S HINT," which has previously been played at the end of TV anime.
"Detective Conan" is a manga that depicts Conan Edogawa solving a series of difficult cases that occur one after another, and began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) in 1994.
