As it rains heavily, Makoto is left alone with Mirai (Shida) at the rehearsal studio and they decide to have coffee together.
"The coffee that Yano-kun makes is so delicious. I love it because the strength and flavor are just right," said a happy Mirai, to which Makoto replied, "I like it too." Mirai replied, "Yeah! Where are these beans from?"
"Not coffee. Ah, well, I like coffee too, but I like Mirai-san."
Makoto looked Mirai straight in the eye as he told her. Meanwhile, Mirai couldn't hide her confusion at the sudden turn of events, saying "Huh?"... On social media, the confession became a hot topic, with comments such as "Yano's straightforward confession made my heart race," "I hope Yano is Ma-kun," "I keep repeating his confession to Mirai, 'I love you,' in my head," and "I liked how natural it felt while drinking coffee."
On the other hand, there were also opinions such as, "Yano-kun, you confessed too soon," "Makoto has confessed. Is he a decoy? (Confessing so early)," "Wait, that's too soon. That's the timing for a decoy," and "I was rooting for Yanoshin, so it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't seem to be Ma-kun."
The drama is based on the popular manga "My Future Son: A Son Came Down From Heaven After 10 Years of Singles!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi. Mirai, who is unsure about love, work, and dreams, suddenly becomes a mother. Through raising a child, she learns about living with others and supporting each other, and the story depicts her rekindling her life.
