The drama is based on the novel of the same name by Kazuaki Sena (published by Kodansha). It is a groundbreaking academic love comedy that teaches us how to live a happy life from the courtship behavior of animals. This is Kamishiraishi's first lead role in a terrestrial TV drama series.
