It has been announced that "Kyojo Reunion," the first part of the film project "Kyojo," starring actor Kimura Takuya, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's Saturday Premium from 8:00 PM on February 14th. The film has been streaming on Netflix since January 1st, and this will be the first time it will be broadcast on terrestrial TV. The second part, "Kyojo Requiem," will be released in theaters on February 20th, and the first terrestrial broadcast will follow.
Sixteen stills from "Reunion" and "Requiem" have been released at once. They include Kazama Kimichika (Kimura) handing in his withdrawal notice, Kadota Harumi (Tsuna Hironaga) holding a camera as a recorder, and Hoshitani Maimi (Saito Kyoko), who becomes embroiled in an incident, as well as other members of the 205th class.
"Kyojo" follows the story of Kazama Kimuchika, a strict instructor with graying hair and a prosthetic right eye. He uses his sharp eyes to see through the various doubts, conflicts, and secrets that arise among the police academy trainees, sifting through the students and forcing them to submit their withdrawal notices one after another. The first series, "Kyojo," aired in 2020 as Fuji TV's New Year's special, followed by the second series, "Kyojo II," in 2021, and "Kazama Kimuchika - Kyojo 0," a story about Kazama's past, in the same network's "Monday 9" slot in 2023.
"Kyoujou Reunion" tells the story of the 205th class of students, including Kadota and Hoshitani. Furthermore, alumni who are active in their respective fields reunite under Kazama to track down the whereabouts of Tozaki, Kazama's arch enemy. The cast of the 205th class includes Tsuna, Saito, Kaneko Daichi, Kura Yuki, Igeta Hiroe, Otomo Karen, Ohara Yuno, Igari Soya, Nakayama Shota, Urakami Seishu, Jotaro, and Matsunaga Arisa.
