TV Tokyo's popular information variety show "Appearing! Ad Street Heaven" (Saturdays at 9 p.m.) will feature the area around Umegaoka Station on the Odakyu Line (Setagaya Ward, Tokyo) on its February 7th broadcast.
Hanegi Park, located near Umegaoka Station, is home to a grove of approximately 670 plum trees and is famous as one of Tokyo's leading plum viewing spots. The 47th Setagaya Plum Festival is being held from February 7th to March 1st.
The program will introduce the park's plum grove, as well as the relocated and reopened Kanda popular "soy sauce ramen," the super cheap and super cool sushi restaurant with a 500 yen lunch, the deep underground dried sardine curry and motsuyaki, and the crepes that are popular with children.
In addition, we will visit a famous yakitori restaurant where the "chicken soba" is popular as a final dish, a famous tempura restaurant's new specialty, the Edomae sandwich, and a mecca for comedians!? We will also visit a tailoring shop for made-to-order suits and an embroidery shop that is inundated with requests for them. We will also take a close look at the "closing day of a fish shop" beloved by local residents.
The guests are rakugo performer Tatekawa Danshun and comedian Kondo Haruna from the comedy duo Harisenbon.
