The fourth episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Mirai no Musuko" (Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Shida Mirai, aired on February 3rd. The leader of the theater troupe "Albatross," played by Shiono Akihisa, was well-received by viewers, with comments such as "He's endlessly clumsy and lovable," and "He's the leading candidate to play Ma-kun."

Masao suspects that Souta (played by Amano Yu) is his child. Mirai (played by Shida) strongly denies it, but he can't help but worry about the two of them. Masao realizes that Mirai is raising the child alone.
One day, while rehearsing with the theater company, Mirai receives a call from the nursery school informing her that Souta is unwell. When Mirai asks to leave early, saying, "I have an urgent matter to attend to...", Masao bluntly replies, "It's an urgent matter, isn't it? Go home early."
However, when Mirai brought Souta home and was about to go shopping, she saw Masao at the entrance. Masao entered Mirai's room and handed her the cooling pad he had bought, saying kindly, "Mirai, keep an eye on Souta."
On the way home from taking Souta to the doctor, Mirai and Masaki took turns carrying Souta on their backs. "So what Mirai was saying before about something being just as important as acting was about Souta. What's important to you is important to us (in the theater company) too. So don't try to carry it all on your own, you idiot," Masaki said, looking embarrassed.
On social media, people were talking about how "Masaaki's clumsy kindness is great," "Masaaki is just too clumsy (so adorable)," "Masaaki's stock is skyrocketing," "Doesn't Mark seem like the most likely candidate?" and "You'd just fall in love with him if he said things like, 'You can rely on me,' or 'He'll take over as your piggyback carrier!'"
The drama is based on the popular manga "My Future Son: A Son Came Down From Heaven After 10 Years of Singles!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi. Mirai, who is unsure about love, work, and dreams, suddenly becomes a mother. Through raising a child, she learns about living with others and supporting each other, and the story depicts her rekindling her life.
