The bowling tournament program "Bowling Revolution P☆LEAGUE" (Wednesdays 10:28 p.m.), which is broadcast on BS Nippon Television, will celebrate its 1,000th broadcast on November 5th.
The show began airing in April 2006 and has been showing the heated battles of female bowlers. Now, with the addition of new faces, veterans and new faces compete for victory in every match.
Professional bowler Himeji Urara commented on the 1,000th broadcast, "Congratulations! It's very moving to think that I was present at the very first broadcast. I fondly recall the pitches of Iwami Ayano from the Next Generation Discovery Project and Asada Rina, who participated as a teenager. I've also had many experiences outside of bowling, such as throwing the first pitch at a professional baseball game and playing at a pachinko machine."
He continued, "I am still working hard as a professional bowler with those memories in my heart. I hope that P☆LEAGUE will continue to be loved for a long time to come. So let's all enjoy P☆LEAGUE in the future!"
