Actress Wakana Sakai will appear on the variety show "Ima Sara Shiro! ~Things That Won't Appear on Tests But Are Useful~" (TBS), which will air from 8:54 PM on June 10th.
The show is a variety program where Junichi Okada and Ryuji Akiyama of "Robert" learn useful life information that won't be on any tests, sometimes with humor, sometimes seriously, and with full effort through hands-on experience.
This episode delves into the charms of Kisarazu City in Chiba Prefecture, a city that has seen a recent increase in residents and is popular with families. The episode also includes a pilgrimage to the filming locations of the drama "Kisarazu Cat's Eye," which starred Okada and aired 24 years ago. At Yatsurugi Hachiman Shrine, one of the filming locations, Okada and Sakai, who played the role of "Moko," have an emotional reunion.
Now, 24 years after the show aired, the program reveals behind-the-scenes stories of the Cats Eye cast in their early days, as well as Okada's emotional reaction to the "Cats Eye culture" that still thrives in the town, including a visit to "Bussan's grave," a place filled with the love of the citizens of Kisarazu, and a reunion with a former staff member who has since become a soba noodle shop owner.
Kayoko Noro will be the host, and Ano-san and Sho Ayanokoji will also be appearing as guests.
