The manga "Sensen Senki," written by A-Ten and illustrated by Ryuga Kawasaki, began serialization in the 28th issue of the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), which went on sale June 10th.
The new series is a dark battle fantasy about a boy from a fallen kingdom who challenges a warlord. In a world of war where many nations divide the world, a small country is conquered and destroyed by an ambitious warlord, and a boy named Raika is taken prisoner. Raika refuses to give up and vows to one day save his people from the warlord's clutches. To that end, he aspires to become an immortal being with supernatural powers.
