Model and TV personality Izumi Mori will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), airing on June 8th at 1 PM. Four years after her grandmother, fashion designer Hanae Mori, passed away in 2022 at the age of 96, Izumi will once again share stories about Hanae's true character.
Her fondest memory is her first appearance at Paris Fashion Week in 2004. Her grandmother, Hanae, stayed in Paris for several months and showed her the process from the preparation stage to the completion of the show. Two things she learned from her grandmother are never to talk about hardships and not to become too strong. She also shows off some photos of her favorite memories with her grandmother and some accessories that her grandmother gave her as gifts.
Izumi also spoke about her own family. Her husband is a temple priest, and her daughter is a 7-year-old second-grader. She said that she herself is not good at studying, so her husband helps her daughter with her studies. She hardly ever cooks, but recently she has learned to make one dish. She then revealed what that dish was.
