It has been announced that " Code Geass Code Geass : Roze of the Recapture," the 20th-anniversary work of the popular anime series "Code Geass," will begin airing on MBS, TBS, and other networks in the late-night anime block "Animeism" from July 10th. "Code Geass : Roze of the Recapture" was screened in theaters in 2024 and is available on Disney+, and will now be broadcast on television.
It has also been announced that the first-ever fan meeting event for the "Code Geass" series, "Code Geass Inc. Kowa 8th Annual Shareholders' Meeting," will be held on July 4th at KFC Hall (Sumida Ward, Tokyo). "Code Geass Inc.," which was announced as an April Fool's Day prank on April 1st, is now becoming a reality. The event will include a "financial report" tracing the 20th anniversary and expressing gratitude to the fans, a corner for fans to think together, and a special talk. Merchandise featuring illustrations of the characters in suits from "Code Geass Inc." will be sold at the venue. Customers who purchase 3,500 yen or more in a single transaction will receive one "Code Geass Inc. Shareholder Privilege Coupon" as a bonus.
The 20th-anniversary key visual and logo have also been released. The visual depicts Lelouch and Rose, who appears in "The Roze of the Recapture."
The "Code Geass" series is an anime that depicts the story of Lelouch, a boy who gains a special ability called Geass, and his rebellion to overturn the entire world. The first season of the TV anime, "Lelouch of the Rebellion," aired from October 2006 to March 2007, and the sequel, "Lelouch of the Rebellion R2," aired from April to September 2008. The theatrical film "Akito the Exiled" was also released. From October 2017 to May 2018, a three-part theatrical film series was released, which re-edited all 50 episodes of the first season and sequel of the TV anime with new cuts. In 2019, the completely new theatrical film "Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection" was released. The four-part "Code Geass : Roze of the Recapture" was screened in 2024.
