The seventh episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, will air on May 19th. Producer Chiaki Masuda spoke about the highlights and behind-the-scenes stories from the filming.
◇Highlights of Episode 7
Episode 7 will touch upon things that couldn't be said, conveyed, or touched upon before. Minato (Nagasaku), who still hasn't been able to get to the heart of Nagisa's (Motoki Nakazawa) true feelings, is invited by Nagisa to "a place full of memories." How will the father-daughter relationship between Minato and Nagisa, which reached a tense point in Episode 6, be updated?
Also, Professor Oedo's (Kenichi Matsuyama) ex-wife, Mio (Shiori Doi), will be making a return. Mio is a mysterious figure who frequently leaves her pug, Hotate, with Oedo. What are her true feelings? And Professor Oedo will be setting foot in the Machiyama household for the first time!?
The theme of this lesson is the yellowtail, also known as a fish that changes its name as it grows. Please pay attention to Professor Oedo's unique interpretation of the topic.
A sense of a new distance is about to emerge between Minato and Edo, which makes me a little uneasy. A little romance is also stirring... As the distances and relationships between the characters gradually change, this is a story that will keep you hooked until the very end.
◇Behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of Episode 6
The flashback scenes of the Machiyama family were filmed relatively early on. The warm, enveloping atmosphere created by Ms. Nagasaku and Mr. Goto (Junpei), who played Wataru Machiyama, conveyed the kind of time Nagisa had spent in the Machiyama household, and it felt like we were getting a glimpse into family memories that we didn't even know about. Even after filming was over, they gathered around an ice cream cake like a real family, and it felt like a warm, family moment was unfolding.
This was the first time that Nakazawa-san, who plays Nagisa, had entered the academy set. When she changed into the costume for the trial lesson, she looked as if she was taking her first trial lesson, and she approached the filming with an excited expression and a cheerful smile.
They were also very interested in the kitchen and President Yokota's office, which only Professor Oedo gets to enter in the drama. Even after filming ended, they enjoyed exploring the set, sitting in the president's chair and so on.
Also, during the filming of episode 6, new employees from TBS Television were on set for training. In a sense, they were junior colleagues in the same situation as Nagisa, who was struggling during her training. Everything they saw on set, everything they experienced, everything that they saw was new and exciting, and their eyes were shining. Seeing their earnestness as they will gain various experiences in their respective departments, I was deeply moved and silently cheered them on, thinking, "Let's do our best together!"

The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the "time to herself" that she finally has again at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months.
