French actor Jean Reno, now 77 years old, will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) on May 19th at 1pm. He is currently in Japan for his first-ever solo show in which he recounts his life story. He will share behind-the-scenes stories about the movie "Léon" (1994), which captivated audiences worldwide.
Born in Casablanca, Morocco, he began his career as a stage actor in France and later achieved success in Hollywood. Now, at 77, his new challenge is a stage production in Japan. The reason for this is revealed. He says he staged his own life story because "I wanted to pass on my journey to children."
He has been married three times and has six children ranging in age from 47 to 14. He is also on good terms with his ex-wives. His wife of 20 years, Zofia, is in the studio, making this their first television appearance together.
