A video of the impressive marching band performance at the Ayano Takeda Festival, featured in the first part of the theatrical film "Sound! Euphonium! Euphonium: The Final Movement," which is a re-imagining of the third season of the TV anime "Sound! Euphonium ! Euphonium," based on the novel by Ayano Takeda, has been released on YouTube. "The Final Movement" features polished cuts from the third season of the TV anime and many new scenes have been added. The video also includes a new performance scene of "Oedo Sousamou Theme," the theme song from the historical drama "Oedo Sousamou."
"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the brass band club of Kitauji High School and depicts the growth of the brass band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, the second season from October to December 2016, and the third season from April to July 2024.
The first part of "The Final Movement" was released on April 24th. The second part will be released on September 11th.
