The drama is an "election entertainment" story in which the protagonist, Mari Hoshino (played by Kuroki), who has been ousted from the political world, recruits a bar owner with no political experience as her election strategist and takes on the Tokyo gubernatorial election. The bar owner, Akari, is played by Kayoko Noro.
The final episode was titled "Each and Every One of Us is a Shining Star."
The story revolved around Ryusei's (Kohei Matsushita) knowledge of the Secretary-General's bombshell, the truth behind that incriminating letter, the secret behind Zanelli's death, and the results of the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
