"Convenience Store Brothers" is based on the novel of the same name by Sonoko Machida. It is a heartwarming and mysterious human comedy set in a convenience store in Mojiko, Kitakyushu City. The script is written by Nonji Nemoto, known for his work on NHK's Asadora drama series "Omusubi" (second half of 2024) and the drama 10 series "Shijiki Fudosan". Nakajima plays Mitsuhiko Shiwa, a diligent convenience store manager who exudes an irresistible charm that captivates people of all ages.

In the second episode, Yoshio Kiriyama (Yuki Izumisawa), a cram school teacher, is a big fan of Tenderness coffee. Recently, he's been feeling down after a female student complained about his lessons. Kiriyama's dream was to become a manga artist, but he gave up on that dream in the past. He still draws because he loves it. One day, Mihiko (Nakajima) happens to see one of his drawings and praises it, but Kiriyama gets angry and disappears from Mojiko.
Hikari (Rena Tanaka) criticizes the store manager for a comment she found offensive. Mihiko asks Tsugi (played by Nakajima in a dual role) to find Kiriyama...
