The third episode of the TBS Friday drama "Tagusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on May 1st. Mogi Koki (Takashi Yamanaka), the owner of the local Chinese restaurant "Mocchan," has been supporting the Tagusari brothers, Makoto (Okada) and his younger brother Minoru (Sometani), for 30 years since their parents were murdered. Social media was flooded with comments such as "Mocchan is way too suspicious."

The drama follows Detective Makoto and Medical Examiner Minoru as they investigate heinous crimes that occur daily and pursue the true culprit in the murder of their parents, a case that expired just two days before the statute of limitations was abolished. This is the latest work from producer Junko Arai, who has worked on hit crime suspense works such as the film "Last Mile" and the dramas "Unnatural," "MIU404," and "Saiai."
Tsuda (played by Kazuki Iio), a non-fiction writer suspected of killing Makoto and Minoru's parents, was found. However, Tsuda had been rushed to the hospital with terminal cancer and was in a coma.
One day, Minoru received a call from the hospital informing him that Tsuda had woken up and that visits would be permitted once his condition stabilized. When he went to the hospital, he found Koki there as well. "Mocchan, what are you doing here?" Minoru asked, to which Koki replied, "Sorry, but I was worried."
Tsuda was asleep in bed. Koki asked, "Once we hear about the incident from Tsuda, then, well, um..." to which Minoru replied with strong determination, "You know what I'm going to do. I'm the one who's going to get revenge on Tsuda."
Minoru heard from the doctor that Tsuda was currently asleep due to medication but would be able to talk tomorrow. However, Tsuda died before Minoru could find out the truth about the incident.
On social media, people were excited, saying things like, "Mocchan is way too suspicious. Did he silence Tsuda?", "There's no way Mocchan killed Tsuda, right?", "It wasn't a natural death. Who did it? Mocchan is suspicious", "Minoru and Mocchan died after going to the hospital. Mocchan is automatically suspicious", and "It seems certain that Mocchan killed Tsuda."
