To commemorate the May 8th release of "The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc," the theatrical anime film based on the popular light novel series "The Irregular at Magic High School " from Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), a "Strongest Support Illustration" project has been launched. This project will feature "strongest support illustrations" by illustrators who work on Dengeki Bunko titles, and the first installment features illustrations of the siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba by 029, who is in charge of the illustrations for "The Devil Is a Part-Timer!". "Strongest Support Illustrations" will be released daily until the release date.
"The Irregular at Magic High School" is set at the First High School Affiliated with the National Magic University (Magic High School), which trains magic users, and depicts the adventures of siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba. The series has sold over 25 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2014, and the theatrical anime film "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars" was released in 2017. The second season of the TV anime, "The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc," aired in 2020, and "The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc" aired on January 1, 2022. The third season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024.
