Former Morning Musume member Rika Ishikawa recently updated her Instagram account (@rika_ishikawa_official), posting a photo of herself with former Country Musume member Mai Satoda.
Ishikawa began by saying, "Mai-chan! It's probably been about a year since we last met..." and then revealed, "I always think, 'Has it really been that long since we last met?' lol That's the kind of relationship Mai-chan and I have."
The background music for this post was "Iroppoi Onna ~SEXY BABY~," a song released under the name "Country Musume. ni Ishikawa Rika (Morning Musume.)," and she wrote, "I hope we can dance again someday with the first song we ever met as background music."
Ishikawa's husband is Ryoma Nogami, a former professional baseball player who now serves as a coach for the Yomiuri Giants, while Satoda's husband is Masahiro Tanaka, a pitcher for the Giants. Fans have commented, "It's quite a coincidence that both of their husbands play for the same team," "Team Giants," "It's wonderful that their relationship continues to this day," and "It's a joy to see them together."
