The synopsis and still images for the fifth episode of the Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, have been released. The episode will air on May 5th.
The classes at the Sushi Academy have reached the halfway point. Minato (Nagasaku) and the others are about to have a "career guidance interview" with Oedo (Matsuyama Kenichi) one-on-one to discuss their future plans after graduation.
Minato, who hadn't given any thought to what he'd do after graduation, was at a loss. Mori Aoto (played by Soma Santoki), who was supposed to be aiming to become a sushi chef, also seemed downcast. Mori had submitted a blank career path questionnaire and said, "I don't know what to do," which left Oedo bewildered.
Just then, Mori's mother, Atsuko (Eriko Sato), bursts into the sushi academy in a rage. It turns out that Mori had secretly dropped out of university without telling his family and enrolled in the sushi academy to take over his grandfather Katsumi's (Denden) struggling sushi restaurant.
Minato tries to comfort the distraught Atsuko as a mother, and as she listens to her, she becomes entangled in an unexpected turn of events.
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama, who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the "time to herself" that she finally has again at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months.
