A figure from the "Godzilla" movie series, "GVA-MC Godzilla (2001) Pink Glow (Tentsuku Kogyo)" (PLEX), will be released for 38,500 yen.
This figure is part of the "GODZILLA VINYL ART" series, where soft vinyl artists create art soft vinyl versions of Godzilla from their own unique perspectives. It was crafted by monster sculptor Tentsuku Kogyo, and is finished in a colorful style that reflects the image of Mothra. It features deep gradations and a sculpt that emphasizes texture. Standing approximately 27 cm tall and 50 cm long, its imposing presence, combined with a glow-in-the-dark gimmick that makes its dorsal fins glow in the dark, makes this a truly art soft vinyl figure.
Pre-orders are being accepted at Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai." Shipping is scheduled for August.
