It has been announced that voice actress and singer Yui Ogura will be performing the opening theme (OP) "QED" for the TV anime "The Furious Young Lady Swore Revenge. ~I Will Crush My Homeland with the Power of the Grimoire~," which is based on a light novel from HJ Novels (Hobby Japan) that won the "HJ Novel Award 2021 First Half." It was also announced that Ogura will be appearing in the series as Lunoa Carlton. It has also been announced that voice actress and singer Aguri Onishi will be performing the ending theme (ED) "Goodbye Lullaby."
In addition to Ogura, it was also announced that Ikumi Hasegawa will play Milly Kataria and Ayumi Uehara will play Misha Tail as additional cast members. A key visual featuring the main characters Elisabeth Leiston/Ellie Reiss, Milly Kataria, Lunoa Carlton, and Misha Tail has been released. On the right side of the visual are characters whose casts are scheduled to be announced in the future.
Hasegawa, who plays Millais Kataria, Elisabeth's lady-in-waiting, said, "As the title suggests, Ellie retaliates without mercy. It goes beyond being satisfying; you might even start to worry if it's okay to have a protagonist like this! (laughs). At this point, even the word 'crush' might seem too mild. I think that's what makes this work unique."
Ogura, who plays Renoir Carlton, a young girl whose talent is recognized by Elisabeth and who begins working for her as an apprentice, said, "I feel that Renoir is a character who, despite her young age, is intelligent and has the ability to accurately read situations. I was very impressed by how she absorbs a lot from Elisabeth and grows little by little. On the other hand, I also made sure to cherish the age-appropriate innocence and wavering that she shows in fleeting moments, and I tried to portray both sides of her charm naturally."
Ogura commented on the opening theme, saying, "This song is an eccentric and dark dance tune that evokes the revenge drama of Elisabeth, the protagonist of this work. Uehara, who plays the cat-girl Misha Tail, said, "I approached the recording with the feeling that I wanted to convey Misha's charm to the fullest extent, taking full responsibility for it! I was very nervous during the recording of her first appearance, but Misha was just as nervous as I was, so I felt like we should all do our best together...! I made sure to convey her desire to be of service to Lady Ellie, and her honest and hardworking nature!"

"The Enraged Young Lady Swears Revenge" is a light novel written by Hagure Metabo and illustrated by Masami. It's a revenge fantasy about Elisabeth, a beautiful genius young lady who is suddenly dumped by the Crown Prince and imprisoned. Armed with the most powerful grimoire, she uses her connections, finances, and military power to take revenge on her traitors. It has also been adapted into a manga.
The anime will be directed by Naoyuki Kuzuya and produced by Studio Comet. Saori Onishi will voice the main character, Elisabeth Leiston/Ellie Leist. It will air on TV Tokyo, BS11, AT-X, and other channels starting in July.
