It has been revealed that Yuki Tabata's manga "Black Clover" will reach its "climax" in the May 1st issue of the magazine in which it is serialized, "Jump GIGA 2026 SPRING" (Shueisha). The cover of "Jump GIGA 2026 SPRING," featuring Asta from "Black Clover," has been released, accompanied by the taglines "Asta VS Yuno, the battle to decide the Magic Emperor begins!" and "Climax of the serialization!" Three chapters will be published in this issue.
"Black Clover" is set in a world where magic exists and depicts the story of Asta, a boy born without the ability to use magic, as he aims to become the Wizard King. It began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2015 and is currently being serialized in "Jump GIGA".
The TV anime aired from 2017 to 2021 and gained popularity overseas. The theatrical anime film "Black Clover: The Magic Emperor's Sword," released in June 2023, also generated buzz. The announcement of a new season, the 2nd Season, airing in 2026 is also generating excitement.
