Synopsis of the final episode of "Reboot"

The final 10th episode of the TBS Sunday drama "Reboot," starring Ryohei Suzuki, will air on March 29th (Sundays at 9 PM).

In the previous episode... Hayase (Suzuki), who was being held captive by Fuyuhashi (Nagase Ren), pleaded, "Just pretend I was killed here and let me go. Do you think Machi (Ueno Suzuka) would be happy if this happened?" Fuyuhashi then changed his expression and said, "I cannot disobey Goroku's (Kitamura Yukiya) orders in order to fulfill Machi's dream. I will make it seem like you escaped on your own," and tried to release Hayase from his restraints. However, at that moment, Kiriya (Fujisawa Ryoka) and Kikuchi (Tsukaji Takeya) burst in.

As Kikuchi's henchmen pointed their guns at Fuyuhashi and Hayase, two gunshots rang out...

In the final episode... Hayase is captured by Fuyuhashi and has nowhere to run. His fate now rests on a split-second decision.

Around that time, Natsumi (Erika Toda) was also cornered by Goroku. However, she had already revealed everything to Hayase: her secrets, her regrets, her guilt. Because she had nothing left to protect, she had no reason to be afraid. Goroku felt a sense of unease for the first time at Natsumi's unwavering gaze. The balance that had held the upper hand for the man began to quietly crumble.

And so, Goroku finally moves to hand over the "10 billion" money. Is it a deal, a trap, or a final gamble? What will become of Hayase's fate?

Amidst a web of conflicting motives, the story of a couple tossed about by the events finally comes to an end!

The script is by Tsutomu Kuroiwa. It's a suspense story in which Riku Hayase, falsely accused of murdering his wife, abandons his family and past to reboot as a corrupt detective, Gido, and pursues the real killer.
