After a hiatus of approximately 1 year and 3 months, Fuwa-chan made her professional wrestling comeback and appeared live on TOKYO MX's information program "5-ji ni Muchu!" (Monday-Friday, 5pm) on March 20th. In her first live appearance on terrestrial television in 1 year and 7 months, Fuwa-chan greeted the audience saying, "It's been a long time. It's Fuwa-chan, and I've become a professional wrestler!"
Fuwa-chan appeared wearing a T-shirt from her women's professional wrestling organization, "Stardom," and her ring costume. She said that during her hiatus, she traveled all over the world, and that she had a desire to try professional wrestling again, something she had previously done as part of a segment on the TV show "Gyoretsu no Dekiru Horitsu Sodanjo" (Nippon Television). She said that she went to wrestling dojos in Los Angeles and London to train.
The conversation was mostly conducted in polite language, but there were moments when her trademark casual speech slipped out. When Mitz Mangrove asked if she had ever felt down during her hiatus, Fuwa-chan replied, "I don't get depressed," but then confessed, "I felt sad because I thought I had disrupted the lives of my manager, makeup artist, and stylist who support me." Finally, she demonstrated her signature move, the Manji-gatame (卍固め), on MC Masashi Kakihana, showcasing her wrestling prowess.
