Masaki is in charge of directing a play called "The Monkey and the Crab" to be held at Souta's nursery school's Christmas party. Souta is chosen to play the monkey, but when his friends tell him that "monkeys are bad guys," he is depressed. Masaki encourages him by saying, "The monkey has the most scenes, and is essentially the main character. I'll act it out so that I can become like my mom (who plays the lead role)."
However, Souta struggled to say his lines while walking straight on the balance beam. As he practiced, Masaki asked him, "I'm sure you can do it, Souta. The monkey wanted to be friends with the crab. It's the same as having those feelings in your heart forever but not expressing them. Is it okay to pretend they don't exist?"
When Souta replied "No way," Masaki gave him passionate instructions, "Right? Don't act like it's not there. If you don't communicate it, it won't get through to them. Communicate!"
Social media was abuzz with comments such as, "Masaaki's acting instruction was so passionate lol," "He looked like the dad when he was teaching," "So it's confirmed that Masaaki is the dad," "Masaaki's passionate acting instruction was the best episode," and "I think Ma-kun is Masaaki after all!"
