Nippon Broadcasting System held a press conference on March Getsuku to announce the lineup for "All Night Nippon" for 2026. The lineup for April 1st was announced, revealing that new personalities will include Ichiro Yamaguchi of the rock band Sakanaction and Yoko Shogenji of the idol group Hinatazaka46.
Yamaguchi will be in charge of "All Night Nippon," which airs on Tuesdays from 1 a.m. "Next year will mark 20 years in my career. I know a lot about the behind-the-scenes of the music industry, so I want to do my best as a personality who exposes the truth," he joked, before expressing his enthusiasm by saying, "I want to become a personality who can convey the view from a musician's perspective."
Regarding taking over the slot that Hoshino Gen will be in charge of until March, he commented, "I've known him since he went solo. I've always listened to his radio show, and I feel the pressure of taking over from him." He added, "I'm curious to know what Hoshino thinks. As a fellow musician, I hope I can take over the baton well."
Yamaguchi, who announced in 2022 that she had depression and took a break for a while, spoke about her health during her regular late-night broadcast, saying, "I think it's a disease I'll have to live with for the rest of my life, so I'll just try to put my shoulder to the wheel and get on with it."
Masamoto Tsukasa will be in charge of "All Night Nippon X (Cross)" at midnight on Tuesdays. It was also announced that Konoka Matsuda, a former member of Hinatazaka46 who was in charge of the same time slot, will be in charge of "All Night Nippon 0 (ZERO)" at 3am on Tuesdays.
