The drama is a novel situational comedy set in a small local police station, focusing not on the crime itself but on the troubles that arise around it. It is produced by the staff of NHK's popular comedy program "LIFE!". Ko Shibasaki plays Mano Ichika, a detective at Shingetsu Police Station who hates to lose and wants to accomplish everything on her own. Series 1 aired in 2022, and series 2 in 2024.
In addition to Koshiba, series 3 will also feature Masaru Kasamatsu, Yukiya Kitamura, Kana Kurashina, and Shuhei Nakano, who appeared in the previous two films, with special guest Osamu Mukai also appearing.
The subtitle of the first episode is "Property to Stake Out." Mano (Koshiba) and Udagawa (Kasamatsu) are investigating a certain case and are looking for a property to stake out. The two polar opposites have completely different preferences, making it difficult to choose a property.
