"Detective! Night Scoop" (ABC TV, Friday 11:17 PM) is a popular variety show in which "detectives" tackle viewers' unexpected requests and worries. On March 6th, Detective Seiya was in charge of the new segment "After School Night Scoop Club." Popular group Da-iCE's Hanamura Sota appeared as the special director, along with assistant director Nagami Daigo and secretary Masuda Saori.
The program receives many requests from elementary and junior high school students from all over the country. Detective Seiya acts as the leader and solves questions and worries from a child's perspective together with the children.
Six boys and girls from first grade of elementary school to second grade of junior high school gathered. One first grade girl, who is scolded by her mother for drinking milk with chopsticks every dinner time, decided to try out the experiment "How long does it take to drink milk with chopsticks?"
In "I want to drink tap water from various prefectures," a third-grade boy who loves tap water samples and compares the tap water from his home prefectures of Tokyo, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Ehime. A first-grade boy who wears tank tops all year round also expresses his dislike for long sleeves and offers various ideas on how to get his mother to understand his opinion.
Furthermore, the younger sister, a pair of sisters in the third and first grades, said that she could always tell who farted no matter how many people were around, so they played a "guess the fart game." Finally, a second-year junior high school boy gave advice on his troubles. He started playing guitar at the age of eight, and appeared on "COUNTDOWN JAPAN 25/26" at the end of last year. The elementary school students came up with clever ideas one after another to help him with his love troubles.
