The 109th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi, was broadcast on March 5th. In this episode, viewers were drawn to the "English sentences" uttered by Toki (played by Takaishi).
Haven ( Tommy Bastow ) hears from Ran ( Misako Renbutsu ) that she has told Toki (Takaishi) about her "Philippines Diary." Encouraged by Ran, Haven decides to leave Toki in Japan and travel to the Philippines. Meanwhile, Toki also decides to stay in Japan with his unborn child and family and support Haven's dream of becoming a writer.
Heaven invites Toki to go for a walk, and the two come to a hill with a great view. When Heaven begins, "I... have come. I'm... Japanese...", Toki staggers and collapses on the spot. Mom. Our child... family. Let's... do this forever in Japan... class."
Then she told him, "I want to be with you," to which Toki replied, "I want to be with you," and the two embraced in joy. Heaven said she would tell Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe) and Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki) about her pregnancy as soon as possible, but Toki replied, "I'm sorry! I know." Heaven realized that she had been the last to know, and laughed, "Am I... the last person?"
"I want to be with you" was the only phrase that Toki, who is not good at English, was able to speak fluently during his English conversation lesson with Heaven. On social media, people were saying things like, "I cried because I didn't expect the plot twist to be resolved in this way," "I cried," "The way the plot twist was resolved was so beautiful," "Isn't this a memorable scene in the history of Asadora?", "I'm in awe that this was the foreshadowing for the development," "It made for a pleasant morning," "This is a divine episode," and "It was incredibly moving."
