It has been announced that the TV anime "Genso Suikoden," based on "Genso Suikoden II" from the popular RPG "Genso Suikoden" series (Konami Digital Entertainment), will begin airing in October. It has also been announced that Chika Anzai Yashiro will be playing Luca Bright, Chika Anzai will be playing Jill Bright, Akihiro Mine will be playing Loud, Ayumu Murase will be playing Pirika, Takeo Otsuka will be playing Look, Yoshino Aoyama will be playing Shu, Yoshino Aoyama will be playing Apple, and Masato Niwa will be playing Mukumuku. The first trailer, featuring the main character Riryu and others, has also been released on YouTube.
The "Suikoden" series is a fantasy RPG based on the Suikoden novel, with the first game released in 1995. Each game has a different setting and characters, and the second game in the series, "Suikoden II," was released in 1998.
The anime will be directed by Sato Yuzo, who has worked on films such as "Exception," and will be produced by KONAMI animation, which has also worked on "Genso Suikoden II Animation Music Video."
