The "HG 1/144 Xabungle Type" (Bandai Spirits), a plastic model of the Xabungle type that appeared in the robot anime "Combat Mecha Xabungle" that aired from 1982 to 1983, will be resold on the Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai." The completely new plastic model will cost 4,180 yen.
The Xabungle Type has been made into a 3D model in the "HG" series. Its shape, coloring, mobility, transformation and combination gimmicks, and proportions have been faithfully recreated to achieve the ideal modern 3D object. It can transform into various forms, including the Bungle Skipper and Bungle Rover.
The head is recreated using four different molded colors and clear parts, and the details inside the cockpit are also recreated. It comes with a wide range of armaments, including a 30mm rifle, a quad hand cannon, a triple bazooka, and a 9-barrel rocket pod. It also comes with damaged wing parts and arm parts that can be used to recreate a tireless version, and by swapping the wings and arms it can also be transformed into Jiron's machine. It is scheduled to ship in May.
