Takaishi Akari, who stars in NHK's morning drama "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), will appear on the station's "Dosta" (General TV, Saturday 1:50 PM) broadcast on February 21st. The program on this day will be a public live broadcast from Shimane, where the drama is set. It will be a 60-minute fan appreciation event with Takaishi as a guest.
"Bakeke" is the 113th morning drama. Based on the story of Lafcadio Hearn and his wife Setsu, the story follows a couple whose heroine, a lover of ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives together with their foreign husband. Takaishi plays the main character, Toki, while Tommy Bastow plays Toki's husband, Heaven.
This time on "Dosta," a fan appreciation event will be held within the program titled "Bakeke: Election in Shimane! Big Thanks Special," as a culmination of the "Shimane Arc" that aired over four months. A collection of memorable scenes from Toki and Heaven's married life, behind-the-scenes stories from filming in various parts of Shimane Prefecture, and more will be introduced, along with an interview with Tommy Bastow, who plays Heaven.
