The third season of the Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime, "Death Tour Part 1," based on the popular manga by Gege Akutami that was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, will air on February 19th as a re-edited program called "Idle Talk," featuring footage from episodes 48-54 of the third season, with new narration. The program will look back on the journey of Itadori Yuji and his friends as they move towards pacifying the Death Tour. The broadcast will begin at 2:00 AM, 94 minutes later than the usual broadcast time. Please note that the broadcast time may change due to the extended coverage due to the Olympic Games.
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from March 2018 to September 2024. The story follows high school student Itadori Yuji, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses after a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed. The comic series has sold over 150 million copies worldwide.
The third season of the TV anime, "Death Return Part 1," is currently airing on the MBS/TBS anime block "Super Animeism TURBO."
