A Gunpla model kit of the Gundam Spiegel from the anime "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" will be released by Bandai Spirits as "HG 1/144 Gundam Spiegel" in their "HG" series. It will cost 3740 yen.
The Gundam Spiegel's ninja-like form is recreated with newly sculpted parts. The Spiegel Blade's handle is extendable, and the blade rotates. Left and right drawing hand parts with movable wrists are included, allowing you to recreate poses such as throwing the Messer Glanz or performing special moves. The Messer Glanz comes with a hand part that shows it being held between the fingers.
The model also incorporates original gimmicks devised by the anime's general director, Yasuhiro Imagawa. Five scroll-shaped parts, inspired by ninjutsu, can be attached to the waist. The scroll parts feature kanji characters and German words representing "Fire Release," "Water Release," "Wind Release," "Wood Release," and "Earth Release." Made of paper material, some of which uses washi paper, the scrolls can be unrolled like actual scrolls. A scroll holder can be attached to the rear skirt to store the scroll parts.
A newly designed rotating stand for recreating special moves is also included. It allows you to recreate the Sturm und Drang special move, in which the Spiegel Blades are extended to the left and right, and the machine is spun at high speed like a top to slash the target. Pre-orders are being accepted from noon on May 29th at Bandai Namco Group's shopping site "Premium Bandai". Shipping is scheduled for September.
