"Radio Star" is a nonstop entertainment drama set in Noto, depicting how an ordinary citizen becomes a star. The theme song is "A Boat Full of Happiness," written and composed by Yumi Matsutoya and sung by MISIA.
In episode 22, Kanade receives a call from Sakura Ono informing him that the new guesthouse is complete, and he heads to Noto once again. As he talks with Sakura, Masahiro (Shunsuke Kazama), and Mana (Manami Ono) in the beautifully completed guesthouse, Kanade's longing for Noto grows stronger. On the bus ride back, Kanade overhears a radio show where a radio star talks about "unforgettable stories."
