Voice actor Koichi Yamadera will appear on the music program "Classic TV," airing on NHK E-TV on April 2nd at 9 PM. The subtitle for that episode is "Koichi Yamadera is the piano!" The program's MC, Shinya Kiyozuka, who respects Yamadera, also known as "the man with seven voices," will attempt to prove a certain theory he has put forward.
According to Kiyozuka, "Koichi Yamadera is like the piano," and when you delve into Yamadera's amazing abilities, such as "playing multiple roles in one anime," "changing his voice," and "making dubbing sound as close to the original as possible," you somehow also come to understand his piano skills. The question is whether Kiyozuka can prove his theory... There will also be a special segment in which Yamadera will perform a conversation scene between Paganini and Rossini all by himself.
Yamadera commented, "When I first heard the theme, ' Koichi Yamadera is the piano!', I thought, 'What is this?!' I can't play the piano at all, and I don't know much about classical music either... But it was a surprise! There were so many eye-opening moments, and in the end, I was convinced! Kiyozuka's performance was also wonderful, and it was a very fulfilling time."
