Singer Koda Kumi announced on March 30th that she is pregnant with her second child.
Her management agency announced on its official website, "We are pleased to announce that Koda Kumi, who is affiliated with our company, is expecting her second child. Both mother and child are currently in good health."
Regarding future activities, the statement explained, "After repeated discussions with the individual, and prioritizing the health and safety of mother and child, we have decided to postpone the nationwide tour scheduled for June 2026 and to decline appearances at various events in which we were scheduled to perform." They also apologized, saying, "We deeply apologize for the great concern and inconvenience caused to our fans and all those involved who were looking forward to the performances."
Finally, she concluded by saying, "We ask for your understanding that this decision was made with the artist's health as our top priority. We would be grateful if you would continue to warmly support Koda Kumi in the future," and asked for understanding. Koda was born on November 13, 1982, making her 43 years old. In December 2011, she married KENJI03 of the rock band "BACK-ON." In July of the following year, 2012, she gave birth to her first child, a son.
