The fourth episode, "Underground Fortress," of "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" (TV Asahi, Sundays 9:30 a.m.), the first installment of Toei's new special effects series, "PROJECT RED," will be broadcast on March 8th.
On the multiverse Earth Σ3302, where insects and humans coexist, a mysterious incident occurs in which important facilities disappear one after another. Reiji (Kohei Nagata) heads to the scene and meets a pair of investigators from the Galactic Federation Police, Mikuro Arimoto (voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki ) and Shoko Hamura (Yui Watanabe). Although Reiji is surprised to meet Arimoto, an ant detective, they begin their investigation together.
"Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is a completely new "Gavan" that inherits the visuals and space-set sci-fi elements of "Space Sheriff Gavan," which aired from 1982 to 1983, while being reconstructed using the latest visual expression and directing methods. The story unfolds in a worldview based on the "multiverse theory," which holds that there is not just one universe. The script is written by Atsuhiro Tomioka , who served as the main writer for the Super Sentai series "Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger " (2024-2025).
