On February 25th, Sota Hanamura of the five-member dance and vocal group "Da-iCE" visited the Tommy Hilfiger Omotesando store (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo), which collaborated with the Cadillac Formula 1 team. He looked back on the "turning point in his life."
Hanamura wore clothes from Tommy Hilfiger's new collection and explored the store, which was equipped with a simulator that allowed visitors to experience the world of F1.
When asked about a turning point in his life, in reference to the world of F1, where 0.1-second decisions can make the difference between winning and losing, he recalled, "When I was deciding whether or not to form the group Da-iCE, I was feeling miserable living off my parents, and I was just about to give up on music and go back to my parents' house."
"When I heard about the group Da-iCE, I thought I'd take a chance on this last chance, and so I started. I think that time was a turning point after all," he said with a sigh.
Actor Hideaki Ito and radio DJ Sasha also visited the store that day.
