The NHK morning drama series "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Takaishi Akari, will enter its 20th week, "Where are you, where are you?", on February 16th. The setting of the story will move to Kumamoto. Here, as a preview, we will introduce Sakuyama, played by Hashimoto Jun.
Sakuyama is an English teacher at Hondaigo Junior High School. He is a rationalist with a well-reasoned approach.
Hashimoto, who plays Sakuyama, gave a brilliant performance as Kitao Shigemasa in last year's taiga drama "Berabou - Tsutajueika no Yumebanashi." This will be his third time appearing in a morning drama, following "Chiritotechin" in the second half of 2007 and "Yell" in the first half of 2020.
"Bakeke" is the 113th morning drama. Based on the story of Lafcadio Hearn and his wife Setsu, the story follows a couple, with a heroine who loves ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives together with their foreign husband.
In the 20th week, Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven (Tommy Bastow) began their new life in Kumamoto.
The Matsuno family has become a large household with the addition of Tsukasasuke (Takashi Okabe), Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki), Takeru (Rairin Sugita) and Masaki (Yukito Hidaka) who came from Matsue as students, the rickshaw driver Nagami (Nobumitsu Onishi), and the new maid Kuma (Toru Natsume). Everyone spends their days peacefully, but being too peaceful becomes a problem.
Meanwhile, the situation suddenly changes when something important to the Matsuno family goes missing.
