The fifth episode of the drama series "Mirai no Musuko" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Shida Mirai, was broadcast on February 10th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 4.9% for households and 3.0% for individuals.
The drama is based on the popular manga "My Future Son: A Son Came Down From Heaven After 10 Years of Singles!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi. The story follows a woman who is half-hearted in love, work and dreams, but suddenly becomes a mother. Through raising her child, she learns about the importance of living and supporting others, and starts living again. This is Shida's first role as a mother in 20 years, since the 2006 drama "14-Year-Old Mother" (NTV).
The fifth episode was titled "My future mother comes to Tokyo! Conflict with my mother just before my first starring role on stage..."
His mother suddenly comes to Tokyo, causing a commotion over the appearance of his grandchild. He and his mother clash just before the performance of his first starring role on stage. And perhaps a clue to his son's time slip is revealed through communication with Mirai...
