The fourth episode of the drama series "Winter Something, Spring Something" (NTV, Wednesdays at 10pm), starring actress Sugisaki Hana, aired on February 4th, and it was revealed that the average viewer ratings (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) were 3.9% for households and 2.2% for individuals. The drama is an original love story directed by Imaizumi Rikiya, known for films such as "Love is Hard" (2019) and "Undercurrent" (2023). Novelist Fumina looks back on her past relationships in order to seriously confront her current partner.
Sugisaki will play Tsuchida Fumina, a novelist who, influenced by her various past romantic experiences, has avoided "falling in love properly" and "facing people properly," while Narita Ryo will play Fumina's boyfriend, Saeki Yukio.
Episode 4 was broadcast under the title "Writing a Novel."
At a talk event for Tsuchida Fumina's (Sugisaki) new novel, "Seikatsu 123," a man watches Fumina from behind as she speaks. It's best-selling novelist and ex-boyfriend Kobayashi Erhu (Nico, Yanagi Shuntaro). After a long-awaited reunion and a few drinks with Erhu, Fumina stops by a bookstore and picks up Erhu's latest book. It occurred to her that she had searched for Erhu novels in the same way in the past. Seven years ago, in the fall of her fourth year of university, Erhu was reading a novel amidst the loud noises of a club she had been invited to by her classmate, En-chan (Nouchi Maru). So the story unfolds.
